Surha Taal becomes India's 100th Ramsar site

Surha Taal in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, was designated India's 100th Ramsar site (and the 13th in UP). India now has the highest number of Ramsar sites in Asia. उत्तर प्रदेश के बलिया जिले के सुरहा ताल को भारत का 100वां रामसर स्थल (और उत्तर प्रदेश का 13वां) घोषित किया गया। भारत अब एशिया में सर्वाधिक रामसर स्थलों वाला देश है।
