Budget 2026-27: record capital expenditure of Rs 12.2 lakh crore, fiscal deficit target 4.3%

The Union Budget 2026-27 proposed a record capital expenditure of Rs 12.2 lakh crore and set the fiscal deficit target at 4.3% of GDP for FY27, down from 4.4% in the previous year. केंद्रीय बजट 2026-27 में 12.2 लाख करोड़ रुपये का रिकॉर्ड पूंजीगत व्यय प्रस्तावित हुआ और वित्त वर्ष 27 के लिए राजकोषीय घाटे का लक्ष्य GDP का 4.3% रखा गया, जो पिछले वर्ष 4.4% था।
